The Mental Health Commission of New South Wales is a statutory agency responsible for independent and systemic monitoring, reviewing and advocacy for improved mental health and wellbeing for the people in NSW.
In all its work, the Commission is guided by the voice of people with lived experience of mental health issues, their families and kinship groups.
The Commission promotes policies and practices that recognise the autonomy of people who have lived experience with mental health issues and support their recovery, emphasising their personal and social needs and preferences.
2RRR radio station services Ryde and Hunters Hill communities, but it can be heard all over Sydney and beyond.
On air since 1983, it is run by a team of dedicated volunteers and boasts a wide variety of programs, including music and talk shows.
2RRR is committed to promoting local talent and supporting the community by providing a platform for local businesses and organizations to share their stories and events.
